WHAT PRESENCE IS
Presence is a thoughtfully designed 10 week guided journal created to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move through life with greater awareness.
Rather than overwhelming you with long exercises or rigid routines, Presence offers a gentle structure - one that meets you exactly where you are.
Each week introduces a meaningful theme and a clear intention.
Each day invites a moment of reflection.
& each weekly review helps you notice patterns and respond to your life more consciously.
This is not about becoming someone new.
It is about returning to yourself with clarity, compassion, and honesty. Presence creates space in a world that constantly asks you to rush.
Because the more you notice, the more intentionally you can live.

WHO IS PRESENCE FOR
Presence was created for those who sense that life is moving quickly, perhaps too quickly, and want a way to slow down enough to truly notice it.
It is for the thoughtful individual who carries a great deal internally. The one who reflects deeply, feels fully, and often gives much of themselves to others, yet rarely pauses to check in with their own needs.
This journal is for you if you have ever found yourself:

Feel mentally full and need a quiet place to process their thoughts.

Have busy days while sensing a growing disconnection from themselves.

Want greater self-awareness without harsh routines or pressure

Are navigating change, transition, or emotional complexity.

Value intentional living and want to respond to life more thoughtfully

Are ready to slow down just enough to hear their own voice again.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Dinisha Coopoosamy created Presence out of an understanding of how easily we lose connection with ourselves in the pace of modern life.
Through her work, she has seen how often people move through their days on autopilot - managing responsibilities, meeting expectations, and holding everything together, while quietly disconnecting from their own inner world. Thoughts go unprocessed. Emotions get pushed aside. Self-awareness becomes an afterthought. Presence was created as a response to that pattern.
Rather than offering quick fixes or overwhelming self-improvement frameworks, Dr. Coopoosamy designed a journal that prioritises awareness over urgency. Her approach is rooted in a simple belief: meaningful change begins with noticing.
By creating structured moments of pause through weekly themes, daily prompts, and reflective reviews, Presence supports the quiet, often overlooked work of self-awareness - the kind that builds emotional clarity, steadier habits, and a more grounded relationship with oneself over time.
WHAT YOU’LL FEEL
People don’t finish Presence feeling “perfect.” They finish feeling more aware, more honest, and more grounded.
Less mental clutter
Clearer emotional patterns
Stronger boundaries
More intentional habits
A calmer relationship with your own thoughts
You won’t just think differently. You’ll notice differently.
FAQS

Presence is not built around productivity, rigid routines, or surface-level prompts. It is a guided self-reflection journal designed to help you slow down, notice your inner world, and build a more intentional relationship with your thoughts and emotions.
Each week introduces a thoughtful theme supported by structured prompts, daily reflection space, and a gentle weekly review. Rather than overwhelming you with pages to fill, Presence creates a steady rhythm - one that encourages consistency without pressure.
It is less about writing more, and more about noticing more.

Not at all.
Presence was created to feel welcoming whether this is your first journal or your fiftieth. The prompts are clear, supportive, and designed to guide your thinking without telling you what you should feel.
There is no right way to journal here. Some days you may write a paragraph. Other days, a few honest sentences will be enough.
What matters is not perfection - but presence.

Most people find that 5 - 10 minutes is enough to meaningfully engage with the daily reflections.
You are not expected to carve out large portions of your day. Presence is designed to fit gently into your life - perhaps in the quiet of the morning, during a midday pause, or as a way to unwind before sleep.
Even brief moments of reflection, practiced consistently, can create powerful shifts in awareness.

While every experience is personal, many people notice:
-
greater clarity around their thoughts
-
improved emotional awareness
-
a stronger connection to themselves
-
more intentional decision-making
-
a deeper sense of calm
The changes are often subtle at first - but over time, they tend to shape how you move through your life.
-

No.
You are allowed to be honest, inconsistent, messy, reflective, uncertain, hopeful - or all of these at once.
Presence is not about producing beautiful pages.
It is about creating a truthful space for yourself.
Presence tends to resonate deeply with those who feel ready to live more consciously - individuals who value growth, self-understanding, and emotional depth.
You do not need to be in a difficult season to benefit from reflection. Many people use the journal simply because they want to experience their lives more fully, rather than rushing through them.

There is no single ideal time - only the time that feels sustainable for you.
Morning reflection can help set an intention for the day ahead, while evening journaling often allows space to process experiences and emotions.
You may even find your rhythm changes over time. Presence is designed to support you in whatever routine feels most natural.
